How it works

A finished service project with your name on it.

01

You pick a tier

10, 25, 50 teens, or any custom amount at $30 per teen.

02

We match a program

Vetted youth programs serving teens, in your community where we can. Already support one? Name it.

03

We ship the books

The complete four-book set and journal go to every teen. They keep them.

04

You get the proof

Photos, a short write-up, and your name on the project. Share it however you want.

Pick a tier

Put books in their hands.

Most youth programs are run by one or two people on a budget that doesn’t stretch to books. Chapters, churches, businesses and individuals can change that.

The tax angle

A deductible marketing expense. No cap.

When your business sponsors Westgate Kids, the money goes on the books as marketing and community relations, not as a charitable donation. That matters. Corporate charitable gifts are capped at 10% of taxable income, and starting in 2026 the first 1% doesn’t count at all. Marketing expenses have no percentage cap. Sponsor $500 or $50,000.

We send you a clean invoice that reads “Youth literacy sponsorship, [program], [N] teens” and a one-page write-up with photos for your records.

Not tax advice. Deductibility depends on your business and how you use the sponsorship, so confirm with your CPA. Westgate Kids is not a 501(c)(3), so personal sponsorships are not tax-deductible.

What you get
  • Books shipped to a vetted youth program
  • Your name attached to the sponsorship
  • Photos of the program with the books
  • One-page write-up for your records or press
  • Clean invoice for your accounting
  • Paperwork to book it as a marketing expense

I’m Kevin Elliott. 25 books out of Charlotte, NC. Westgate Kids is the series I wish somebody had handed me at 15. If you’re ready to put these in the hands of teens who need them, I’ll make sure every sponsorship goes exactly where it should.

Questions

Before you sponsor

Is the sponsorship tax-deductible?

For businesses, it is generally deductible as a marketing and community-relations expense, with no percentage cap like the one on charitable gifts. You get an invoice and a write-up with photos for your records. Westgate Kids is not a 501(c)(3), so it is not deductible for individuals as a donation. Confirm your situation with your CPA.

Who receives the books?

Vetted youth programs, mentoring groups, schools and churches serving teens 13 to 17. If you already support a program, name it and we’ll ship there. If not, we match you with one, in your community where we can.

What does each teen get?

The four Westgate Kids novels and the Push a Boundary guided journal. They keep them.

Is the content appropriate for teens?

Yes. No profanity and no sexual content. The books are honest about real life, which is why teens actually finish them.

Can we pay by invoice or PO?

Yes. Choose “Set up a corporate sponsorship” in the form below and we’ll send an invoice.

Is there a minimum?

No. Each teen is $30. Sponsor one, ten, or a thousand.

Can we sponsor every year?

Yes. One-time or recurring, whatever fits your budget cycle.
